BUSUN provides shuttle service for schools staying at one of our sponsored hotels. We heavily subsidize the cost of running shuttles, providing the service for the entire duration of the conference for only $18 per person (including advisors and chaperones). Although it is possible in nice weather to walk from the downtown hotels, BUSUN strongly encourages all participants, for safety and convenience, to take the shuttle.
The shuttles will run before registration, at the end of committee sessions on Friday night, and before the first committee session on Saturday and Sunday. The shuttles will make multiple trips during A Night on the Town at Brown Saturday night from the beginning of the event until the end. Please note that shuttle services will not be provided to hotels at the end of closing ceremonies. We will, however, provide a locked luggage room for those who wish to store luggage.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be in need of shuttle service and, if so, for how many people. The shuttle fee can be paid separately as cash or as a part of the delegate fees paid at registration.

If you will be using your own transportation to Brown University each day of the conference, you will need to purchase a visitor-parking pass. The parking pass will cost $15 per day per vehicle, regardless of vehicle size. Buses and large vans will need to park at the parking lot for the Brown Stadium, located at 400 Elmgrove Avenue. Directions for this location can be found here (scroll down to Brown Stadium Parking). Buses and large vans may also be parked at some BUSUN hotels, although BUSUN cannot guarantee that hotels will have bus parking available in all cases. Smaller vans and cars may park in the visitor parking lot located on Brook Street just off of Waterman Street.
